We stumbled upon Hotel Restaurant Le Chanel during our road trip and it turned out to be a delightful find. The receptionist, who happened to be the owner's wife, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The pool looked inviting, but we chose to relax on our sunny balcony instead. The bathtub provided a perfect opportunity to unwind. With easy access to the highway, it was convenient for us to reach Lyon airport. And the highlight of our stay was the outstanding gourmet dinner at the restaurant.

Can just recommend this hotel.

Stayed at a hotel that turned out to be a mini theme park. The outside pool was like swimming in a swamp, the playground was a health hazard, and the terrace was a nice mosquito-infested breeding ground. Such a unique experience!

The room we booked for three people was a bit cramped and the extra bed was not the most comfortable. However, the overall cleanliness of the room and the secure parking were definitely pluses.

The outdated bathrooms were in need of urgent upgrade, and the pool was not well, maintained. We were also disappointed with the quality of the extra bed for our daughter, which was more like a stretcher.
